About Us
Helping Addict is a non-profit organization which disseminates information in all spheres and stages of Substance Abuse Disorder (SUD). We start with a thorough assessment to determine appropriateness for our level of care and provide knowledge of available treatment tailored to one’s requirement. We provide access to health and service delivery efforts that promote mental health, prevent substance misuse, and provide treatments and supports to foster recovery while ensuring equitable access and better outcomes.
Our Vision
Helping Addict envisions that people with, affected by, or at risk for Substance Use Disorder condition receive care, thrive, and achieve wellbeing. In order to achieve its mission, we have identified three priority areas to better meet the behavioral health care needs of individuals:
- Enhancing access to Substance Abuse Prevention and Crisis Care
- Preventing overdose
- Promoting resilience and emotional health for children, youth and families
